"Let me know when it drop, Nuez" has, hands down, become my favorite producer tag in the game right now. A majority of Nuez's work has been done in collaboration with Robb Bank$, on tapes like C2 and Molly World. Now Broward County, Florida's Nuez is branching out with his own label, $outhern Giants, from which he'll release his own collaborations. "Gamble," featuring Hoodrich Pablo Juan and Lil Baby, is the first release from the label.

In an email, Nuez told Complex that the song came together in an unexpected way. "Originally when I made the beat, I was trying to make some shit for Pablo. It was in a pack of like 20 beats I made for him. But when we linked up, I played this beat first and he didn’t want me to play another one until he finished recording his part. When I linked up with Lil Baby, I had a few other songs and beats I had in mind for him to hop on. I actually didn’t think he would want to hop on this song at first."

But hop on it Lil Baby did, making a collaboration dream come true for fans of him and Pablo Juan. According to Nuez, "Gamble" is just the beginning for him: there's an album on the horizon. "Right now, I’m just stacking up as many songs as I can to choose from," he wrote. "I have a name for the album, but the name changes every few weeks because I’m horrible at making decisions. But the album will be out this year for sure."
