Bella Hadid Says Drake's 'Scorpion' Track "Finesse" Isn't About Her

The 21-year-old supermodel denied rumors that she was the mystery woman referenced on Drake's 'Scorpion' album.

Drake’s newly released album Scorpion gave fans a lot to talk about.

The 25-track project addressed everything from Drizzy’s secret child to his previous feuds with Diddy and Meek Mill; however, when it came to the topic of romantic relationships, the 6 God kept things fairly vague.

On the project’s “Finesse” track, Drake seemingly confirmed he and supermodel Bella Hadid used to be an item. Just look at some of the song’s lyrics:

“I want my baby to have your eyes”

“Should I do New York? I can't decide/Fashion week is more your thing than mine”

He also suggests he and the mystery woman had to keep their relationship on the down low: “I can't do suit and tie/Can't be in a room with you and stand on different sides”

Drake also mentions the woman’s sister, leading many people to believe he was referring to Bella and Gigi Hadid: “You and your sister/Too hot to handle”

We should also point out that Drake made a reference to Bella’s father on “Sandra’s Rose”: “My house is full of supermodels just like Mohamed Hadid”

So, were the whispers true? Did Drake finally came clean about his and Bella’s rumored fling? Well, not according to Bella.

Just a day after Scorpion dropped, the 21-year-old model responded to a tweet that suggested she was the woman mentioned in “Finesse.”

“WHY CANT PPL BE FRIENDS W/o all the insinuation,” she wrote.

Drake and Bella sparked dating rumors in 2017 when Drake attended the model’s 21st birthday party. Though they never confirmed a relationship, sources claimed the two were romantically involved, and that it was Drake who called it quits.

“Things ended over text when he basically ghosted her,” an insider told Us magazine.
