Maintaining a somewhat reserved persona over the past few years, today Complex can exclusively reveal Sipprell's debut video for "Personal", her brand new single. Here, the London-based singer-songwriter ponders over her late brother, laying soulful, aching vocals over soft, dreamy strings. And, indeed, it's a very personal offering.
"For me, the video represents how I feel whenever I revisit my brother's old flat or the room he stayed in next to mine in the final weeks of his life. It's an eerie feeling—but also nostalgic and comforting, in a way. Sometimes I can still feel his presence, which is depicted visually by the warm lights shining through the windows."
