Logic Joins OneRepublic on "Start Again"

The song comes from the soundtrack of Netflix's '13 Reasons Why.'

Logic is the most pop-friendly version of himself on "Start Again," a new collaboration with Colorado pop rock band OneRepublic. The song will land on the soundtrack for the second season of Netflix's 13 Reason Why show, which premieres on May 18.

"Start Again" finds both Logic and OneRepublic looking back on feelings of loneliness and times they were underappreciated, as they move forward to a fresh start. The motivational, underdog lyrics, and uplifting pop-rock energy serve as a fitting foundation for a soundtrack to a mystery teen drama.

This is the first time the two acts have collaborated, but Logic has shouted out lead vocalist Ryan Tedder before. In a guest verse on John Lindahl's "The Feeling," he rapped: "Pen game, Ryan Tedder, like 'What up, what up?' / Anybody hating on the boy, they can shut up."
