Eric Benet Thinks Kanye West Isn't Safe From Crips

TMZ spoke with Eric Benet about the threat issued by Daz Dillinger on Kanye West, and whether the Chicago rapper has to be concerned about the Crips coming into Calabasas.

TMZ recently caught up with Eric Benet at LAX to see what he thought about Daz Dillinger posting a video demanding that the Crips “fuck Kanye up” for support of Donald Trump. Benet was asked by the TMZ reporter to comment on whether Kanye should consider himself safe from the threat of Crips in the city in Los Angeles County.

While Benet would concede that Calabasas is just as safe as anywhere else, he was admittedly concerned for West’s well-being. When asked if there was enough security in Calabasas to keep Kanye safe from harm, the singer responded, “Is there enough security anywhere for the Crips?” Before heading out, Benet declined to offer up some parting words for 'Ye and his current situation.

Now, we're all left wondering the same thing: Why in the hell are we asking Eric Benet questions regarding the Crips in the first place?

Since backing his "brother" Trump, West has received some perceived subliminal messages directed at him from people within the hip-hop community. Even Kanye's close friend John Legend posted a series of tweets in response to 'Ye's pro-Trump stance.
