Elon Musk and Grimes attended this yearβs Met Gala together, sparking further rumors of a romance between the two. Page Sixreported on Monday that the singer, whose real name is Claire Boucher, and Musk were βquietly datingβ after they allegedly met online around a month ago.
Grimes first caught the eye of Musk after he contemplated posting a joke on Twitter about artificial intelligence. When the SpaceX CEO discovered that she made the same observation back in 2015 in her video for the song βFlesh Without Blood,β he had to reach out to her, given their incredibly specific common interest.Β
Since then, Musk has been openly complimenting Grimes and her work, calling the visuals for her song "Venus Fly" featuring Janelle MonΓ‘e the "best music video art Iβve seen in a while."
He has also complimented her ear for music.Β
Musk may have been respondingΒ to the Page SixΒ reportΒ with two somewhat cryptic tweets that referenced the alleged subject matter that bonded him with Grimes.Β
