For his latest slice of masterful conversation art, Nardwuar was joined at SXSW in Austin by Alabama's own YBN Nahmir.

The 12-minute throwdown began with Nardwuar's unveiling of some Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and E-40 records, complete with instrumentals. "Them the goats," Nahmir said. "That's all you gotta say. ... That's crazy. I didn't think nobody knew I listened to Bone Thugs-n-Harmony." Later, Nardwuar gifted Nahmir with a classic from the late Doe B.

"That n**** hard," Nahmir said of Doe B, who was also from Alabama. "He hard as hell. Everybody fuck with him. Everybody listen to that n****. Like, bro, Birmingham fuck with that n**** heavy. RIP that n**** man. That n**** a legend in Birmingham."

Nahmir also discussed the R&B group he had as a kid (named the Misfits, but not like these Misfits), Rich Boy, 1970s-era comedy records, and much more. Doot doola doot doo your way to the top of this page to see the full video.

Nahmir recently landed on Complex's roundup of 18 artists to keep your eye on in 2018. He was joined on the list by Rico Nasty, Sheck Wes, Billie Eilish, and more. Now that he's secured the coveted Nardwuar interview, Nahmir having a great 2018 is practically guaranteed.

Last month, Nahmir dropped his off new single "Bounce Out With That."
