Grime has now taken its rightful place as one of the biggest genres in UK music, but it's very important not to forget the people who helped get it to this point when the genre was arguably in its purest form circa 2004-2006. One such person is Aftershock Crew's leading lady, Gemma Fox, whose vocals brought a different element to the aggressive bars of the early days.

With her first project of 2018, the singer-songwriter comprises previously unheard, unreleased as well as released bangers to form the Grime Vocals Archive. Including remixes of classic songs such as "Messy" and "Highly Flammable", and appearances from heavyweights such as Tinchy Stryder, DaVinChe, Terror Danjah and Silky, the project serves as a reminder for early fans and a warm-up for new ones of the genre.

The project is available on all digital platforms, and with her Niche EP due for release soon, this is a project you need to add to your collection.
