When Darci dropped their last record, they hinted at some major developments in 2018. Fast forward a month and change, and fans are treated to a new song, plans to roll out live performances, along with a mixtape scheduled for this Spring.
"We've been working on a lot of new music. Piecing together a project for this year," Darci told Complex over email. "During that process we like to play with different styles to keep things fresh for ourselves. This tune came together on an experimental day, and turned out to be a song that meant a lot. It's a simple song, and it can mean different things to different people, but overall there are themes in there we can all relate to."
