It’s unclear if Diddy expected the controversial responses after he revealed his intentions of buying the Carolina Panthers. But his announcement has indeed stirred up all kinds of feelings in the public, the most violent of which between Nipsey Hussle and a KRON4 reporter named Henry Wofford.
Wofford, alongside his co-host Darya Folsom, laughed at Diddy’s announcements and doubted whether that could even happen. Nipsey fired back, accusing Wofford, who is black himself, of being racist and threatening to beat both Wofford and Folsom up. Wofford eventually issued a public apology for his tone-deaf news segment, but the feud between the reported and Nipsey is only heating up.
Despite his apology, Wofford seems to have seen the video in which Nipsey threatens to beat him up, and he responded on Twitter literally asking for a fight.

In a tweet, Wofford called himself “old school” and said he would only fight for a cause, like raising money for the black community. “We can box or go MMA style in a celebrity fight,” Wofford wrote. “Hug when it’s over. Let me know time and place!”
Nipsey caught wind of Wofford’s cheeky response and was having absolutely none of it. His four-part response came hard and fast and was also tinged with the racial animus of the entire situation.
Does Wofford not believe Diddy can buy the team because of his profession? Wofford thought Diddy was drunk and/or high when he first announced his intentions of buying the NFL team.
Nipsey thinks that’s Wofford being an Uncle Tom, and in any case, “[Wofford] ain’t hard enough.”

Wofford has not written back, but Nipsey kept going with two more tweets. It’s unlikely the two will actually meet up to fight, but Nipsey seems pretty invested in the idea.

Whatever comes out of this feud, we’ve yet to hear any updates on Diddy’s plans regarding the team, and even if he was serious or not. We know he’s not "playing around on the internet" anymore, so he’s probably not kidding. He’s also got the support of Colin Kaepernick and Steph Curry, which only helps make Diddy’s idea seem less and less crazy with each passing day.
