Have you heard of the #LeBronJamesChallenge? The new viral social media craze was initiated when LeBron James posted the following video on Instagram three days after the Warriors defeated the Cavs in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

It was such a random, odd, and funny video that others were inspired to make their own versions—and thus, the challenge began.
Well, the song in the video is Tee Grizzley’s “First Day Out.” Between the greatest basketball player alive joyously singing and dancing to it and many others doing the same as part of the #LeBronJamesChallenge, Grizzley says sales for the song have tripled since James posted the video.
TMZ caught up with the 23-year-old Detroit rapper who said James’ post has done wonders for his sales numbers.
The song was already quite popular—particularly among athletes—as it had millions of YouTube views. LeBron, however, elevated “First Day Out” to the next level.
Grizzley is doing so well, in fact, that he whipped out $80,000 in cash in the middle of the airport.
Can’t knock the hustle. Let this be a heads up to all the rappers of the world: if you want your sales numbers to skyrocket, make sure LeBron James falls in love with one of your songs.
