Bryson Tiller surprised everyone last night by releasing his sophomore album True to Self a month ahead of schedule. The move was definitely appreciated by fans waiting to hear what the 24-year-old singer has been cooking up in the studio. Like Trapsoul, the project has no features—cue up the memes about going platinum with no features, word to J. Cole.
Still, Tiller had help on the production end of True to Self. A Rolling Stone interview revealed that Kentucky producer Nes helped craft nine tracks on the 19-song project. After an initial spin, it's also clear Tiller shaped his new album with a number of classic R&B samples.
