London has birthed a new rap duo: Soul Purpose. Made up of lyricists AyiTe and O.J. Hodding, the pair's sound and style nods heavily towards the boom-bap era of the '90stwisting complex rhymes through trippy beats. After releasing their Casual EP back in February, today, Soul Purpose unveil a set of home video-style visuals for standout cut "Maroon". Featuring exclusive camcorder footage taken throughout the course of 2017, there are also cameos from the extended musical family and friends of Soul Purpose, from live shows and local hangouts. With the boys trading ferocious verses over 808 licks, they shared with Complex that they "keep it homemade from start to finish."
