This Friday is Kim Kardashian’s 36th birthday. The entire Kardashian family has already wished her a happy birthday, but her husband Kanye West will likely win the day with this birthday present he’s been working on.
Earlier today, West took to Twitter to share a five-minute video montage of family moments set to his song “Only One.” It features narration by her mother Kris Jenner, as well as her late father Robert Kardashian.
Some of these clips are pretty rare, showcasing a young Kimberly growing up with her siblings (Kourtney, Khloé, and Rob). “I’m thankful for the life that we’re living now, and the family that I have,” says a teenage Kim at around the 3:40 mark. Be sure to watch until the end to read a special message from Kanye.
Kris Jenner also shared a similar montage video on Instagram. However, it features different footage from Kim's childhood. “Happy Birthday to my precious Kimberly! @kimkardashian I love and adore you... you have brought so much joy into all of our lives and you are the most wonderful daughter, wife, sister, friend and mom. I thank God every day he blessed me with you and I cherish every single moment and memory. My heart is full of gratitude and I love you more than you will ever imagine or know... Mommy xo.”
Rob Kardashian saw the video and shared his love for his brother-in-law.
Kourtney Kardashian also added some lovely emojis to sum up her appreciation for the video.
Khloé noted she almost forgot her father's voice until today.
