Rae Sremmurd made quite the impression the last time they appeared on Highly Questionable, and on Thursday they decided to give it another go. The rap duo covered all the bases, discussing Slim Jxmmi accidentally putting his foot through a spotlight at Governor's Ball in NYC, working with Beyoncé, and Jxmmi's pink fur jacket.
Recalling the incident at Gov Ball, Jxmmi recounted the hilarious turn of events where he mistook a spotlight for a speaker. "I done jumped into it, it was a spotlight. My foot went through it," Jxmmi laughed. "I told the crowd I was okay though because I know I wasn't going to die. I just said 'Look I'm about to go to the hospital but Swae :ee is here, he's gonna finish it. While I'm in the hospital y'all just turn up and go to a cool after-party. SremmLife."
They also discussed the possibility of Jxmmi giving Swae his pink fur Gucci coat after he gets tired of it. "The only kind of hand-me-downs I'm accepting is like $6,000 hand-me-downs. Gucci hand-me-downs. Vintage YSL hand-me-downs that have been worn by Slim Jxmmi," cracked Swae Lee. "They should be called hand-me-ups."
Elsewhere in the interview, the boys discuss working with Bey and getting kicked out of the house by their mom. "We was rowdy," laughed Swae. "We weren't waiting for it to be handing to us, we really went ou there and got it," said Slim Jxmmi.
