Corinne Bailey Rae Returns With the Stunning Video for "Been to the Moon"

Corinne Bailey Rae returns with "Been to the Moon," her first song in six years, and it also comes with an accompanying visual. The Chris Turner-directed video features Rae crashing on the "moon" before exploring the area and running across the volcanic landscapes of Spain's Canary Island, Fuerteventura, where it was filmed. "Been to the Moon" is an uplifting, glimmering key-filled track packed with delicate melodies and exuberant horns.

This is the first taste of Rae's forthcoming album, The Heart Speaks in Whispers, which is the singer's first album since 2010's The Sea. Rae was working on her second album in 2008 when her husband died of an accidental overdose of alcohol and methadone. The singer has since remarried and has infused a lot of that happiness into her upcoming album, The album features a number of notable musicians including, Pino PalladinoJames GadsonMarcus Miller, and Esperanza Spalding. Watch the video for "Been to the Moon" above and look for Rae's new album to arrive May 13.
