A few weeks back, Complex hosted our first ever Complex Live event at the YouTube Space New York (you can read all about it here) and as a special guest, we had Niykee Heaton come by and give an intimate live performance. But it wasn't just an ordinary performance, we set up a fake NYC subway car for her to perform a cover of Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen" as well as her song "Infinity." We also shot part of her performance using 360 camera technology.

What is 360 camera technology? Well, Complex teamed up with Pittsburgh-based camera company 360 Fly to find a new way to tell stories. When you're watching a video shot with 360 technology, you can actually look up, down, and pan left and right in the shot just by clicking the screen. This is just the beginning too, in the future users will be able to incorporate this technology with Google Cardboard or Oculus technologies. Check out Niykee's performance but be sure to take a look around.
