WizKid is—very arguably—Nigeria's biggest star in 2015. "Ojuelegba" comes from last year's Ayo album, and its slower tempo and synthesizers suggest a blend of dancehall and g-funk—a perfect example of how other genres become mere tools for Afropop artists. The song is named for a section of Lagos, Nigeria, and narrates WizKid's climb to becoming a major recording star. While not as anthemic as some of his bigger records last year, like last summer's "Show You the Money," it's an eminantly replayable earworm nonetheless.
