Several things signal the beginning of summer: the first barbecue of the year, the end of exams, pubs putting out their grubby parasols and, finally, a new Rudimental single. They happen pretty much like clockwork and since we've all rinsed the tiny amount of sun we've had so far, a single from the foursome is more than overdue. "Never Let You Go" is the name of it and it features all the trademarks you'd expect: uplifting brass, muted drums in the build-up, and then a soulful refrain over a club-friendly D&B beat. It's not the most progressive or experimental track out there, but who wants to sit on a beach/boat/patio stroking their beard while everyone else is dancing? The single's out on June 14. Listen above.
