During his stop at SXSW this past weekend, Big Sean sat down with Elliott Wilson for a live CRWN interview event. Per usual, the in-depth conversation touched on a number of topics that included his new album, Dark Sky Paradise, and much, much more.

Aside from his latest project and how it differed from the likes of Kendrick Lamar and others, Sean talked about his special relationship with the city of Detroit and the importance of his family in his career. He also touched on his Detroit mixtape, and why the project was actually more of an album, though he decided to release it for free.
