Rae Sremmurd have proven to be much more than one-hit wonders, and that's evident on their debut album, SremmLife, which has bolster three consecutive singles to reach Billboard chart status: "No Flex Zone," "No Type," and "Throw Sum Mo" featuring Young Thug and Nicki Minaj. Their commercial success continues this week, with SremmLife cracking the top 10 of the albums chart, moving just under 50,000 copies and landing at No. 5. First week sales have become a premium in rap these days, so this tally is certainly a positive for the Tupelo, Miss. duo.

In related sales news, Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint landed at No. 3 moving 60,000 units, while J. Cole sold 45,000 copies of 2014 Forest Hills Drive, good enough for No. 7 on the albums chart. And, as if you haven't heard this story before, Taylor Swift spent her ninth non-consecutive week at the top of the charts with 1989, which sold 155,000 copies.
