Well, you could either a) bitch and moan about the state of the art of rapping or b) do what the UK's organic global-beat representer Smutlee did and drop brand new lyrics on the same track. Dancehall rhymer Aidonia's "Don Deh Ya" was released in January 2014 and was recorded over the "Hot Yeer" riddim, a menacing, yet sparse synth-and-snare drum-guided beat. Free-to-download, do that and definitely slip it in your sets tonight.
