Despite the branding always confusing me a bit because I saw the name shortly after the brilliant movie did it's thing... Fantastic Mr. Fox has consistently made incredibly interesting music. And with this new single "You-Turn," he may have really stepped out with a heavyweight contender for track of the year. Apologies for being bold, but anthems in 2014 have luckily been a steady presence and this jumps immediately to the head of the class. With Black Acre set to release this on October 20, featuring the hypnotic vocals of Kid A, this futuristic soul gone Burial-influenced grime slice of perfection is simply breathtaking because genres really don't ultimately matter. What really matters is if it's dope or not and I'm completely blown away by how dope this tune really is. Too dope to properly put into words. Real talk.
