I've been a pretty rabid fan of Chemical Brothers for a long time. Like, since their Exit Planet Dust days, their catalog holds a very special place in my heart. And because of that borderline psychotic obsession, I'm always extremely hypercritical of anyone even taking a stab at doing edits or remixes of their work. But here I am writing something up because this dude done did it justice. Taking on The Chems' "Another World" from their 2010 album Further, Cake Eater and his new alias Michael Jordy vibed this thing out in a truly magical way. This tune was already on some shoe-gazing blissful shit and this edit speeds up the original slightly with a tasteful head nod snap for the downtempo and future bass crowds. This is an instant freebie weapon for the end of summer DJ sets you can cop immediately.
