On September 12, the long-awaited Take Me To the River documentary, which follows the creative process of multiple generations of Memphis musicians working together towards the completion of unified album, will be released to the public. Today, in support of the film, they debut a new rendition of "Ain't No Sunshine" from the late Bobby "Blue" Bland and Yo Gotti, which will appear on the official soundtrack for the film, which is now available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon.

Along with some stunning shots of the city of Memphis, the video, which can be seen above, also includes footage of Gotti and Bland working with a live band in the studio on the record. The soundtrack also includes appearances from Terrence Howard, Bobby Rush, Mavis Staples, and more. Legendary MC Snoop Dogg is also featured on the project, as well as an executive producer of the film with Howard. Additional information on the film and soundtrack can be found on the project's official website here, as well as their Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts.
