In a killer effort to announce an upcoming remix mini LP, Joker has dropped a stream of a Swindle's stellar flip of Joker's now classic collaboration with Ginz, "Purple City." The original still goes so hard and sounds like what you would think Dr. Dre and his production would sound like if they fucked with dubstep and grime feels. Regardless of how important the original is, giving Swindle the keys to the ship (session stems if you will) was so the right move. He adds so much funk to the already funk laden original that it's kind of blown our collective minds. Joker's remix album is dropping on his Kapsize imprint via double 12" on August 4.
