The sentencing from 2 Chainz's June arrest for drug possession has finally been announced. District Attorney spokeswoman Jane Robinson announced today that 2 Chainz will be placed on a drug diversion program for 18 months, and that his charge for felony drug possession has been dropped.

The pending misdemeanour against the 2 Chainz, whose government name is Tauheed Epps, is also set to be dropped if he completes the drug program. Epps was arrested back in June when officers found the illegal substances used to make codeine cough syrup in his luggage at LAX.

We will continue to update this story, as more details become available.
