Brooklyn's Salomon Faye has showcased his raw rhyming abilities on songs like "Brooklyn 11233" and "Fool's Gold." On his latest song, "Quest," he changes things up. Over the warped, ambient production of Lionel Leson, Faye uses a spacey flow, relying on harmony to convey the message. The song is about awareness and spiritual enlightenment. "I can grab on to anything/Once I let go of everything," Faye says. Accompanying the song, a simple animated video illustrates this concept well.
