Long before his Fool's Gold days, before The Hybrid and when he still had braids, Danny Brown was just trying to make it in Detroit. Yesterday, he dropped "The Old Documentary," shot in 2009 by Nic Notion.
With the release of his forthcoming album Old, which was recently pushed to October, Danny releases old footage of him performing live with the Gorilla Funk Mob in his hometown and his perspective on the rap game long before he made it big. At the time, Danny had already dropped his Detroit State of Mind Pt. 1 & 2 projects and was gearing up to promote Hot Soup.
