Axwell's been quoted as saying, “If there were a Dutch version of Swedish House Mafia, it would be Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano.” That's a pretty huge accolade for this duo from Amsterdam that bills themselves as "the world's most energetic house DJ duo!" They have been on the scene for the last five years, touching many different regions of the world, from the U.S. to Asia, and have had their singles, including the massive "Lethal Industry," getting props from Pete Tong, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, and others. They've also had a pair of singles on Steve Angello's SIZE imprint, and have remixed the likes of Afrojack, Ferry Corsten, and Kaskade just to name a few.
For their Five Tracks, these two take us on a pretty intriguing ride. This might be the first time someone has mentioned Michael Jackson, although this surely won't be the last we hear of artists being influenced by Daft Punk. Get to know Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano a bit more with this week's Five Tracks.
