Earlier this month, controversy arose when people noticed that the beat behind will.i.am's "Let's Go" track with Chris Brown sounds exactly like Arty & Mat Zo's EDM hit, "Rebound."

For a better understanding of the similarities, listen to will.i.am's version here:

Then listen to Arty & Mat Zo's original:

Well, instead of dodging questions, will.i.am addressed the situation head-on in a recent interview with radio station Kiss FM. Here's what he had to say:

"Arty is a dope producer so I wrote this song to Rebound this last year. I got in touch with Arty and showed it to him… but something happened and hopefully we can resolve the issue. It’s sad that it’s turned into a fiasco but hopefully it’s resolved, because I’m a fan of those guys. I contacted them last year and we’re fixing it now."

Arty & Mat Zo don't seem particularly pleased. It'll be interesting to see exactly how this issue gets "resolved."
