One of the best things about your EDM Internets has been the rise of streaming, which has given way to a whole new market of Internets festivals. Mixify has been on the forefront of these, with their Rise festifal from this past February drawing everyone from Fedde Le Grand to R3hab, and give streamers the ability to chat with other fans AND the DJs.
For this year's Meltdown Music Festival in Dallas (on April 27) finds Disco Donnie Presents linking up with Mixify for the Meltdown Music Digital Pre-Festival on Wednesday, April 24 to celebrate the festival. To FURTHER celebrate this, DJs are getting the opportunity of a lifetime: there's a contest running through Sunday, April 14 that would give the winner a grand prize of mixing at the Meltdown Music Festival alongside Justice, Flux Pavilion, 12th Planet, and many others!
All you have to do is to host an hour-long event on Mixify.com anytime from now until 11PM EST on April 14. The 10 DJs who bring the most unique attendees will then advance to the finals, where they will submit an hour mix, which will then be voted on by the fans to determine a winner. It's that simple.
