Having released Platinum records, won Grammys and popularized a new genre of music, what else is there for Skrillex to do but start performing with Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas? Yes, the asymmetrically-haired dubstep pioneer has announced plans for a musical residency at the LIGHT club in Vegas with visual accompaniment by Cirque.
Skrillex is just one of several DJs lined up for extended stays at the club, with Zedd, Alesso, Baauer and Swedish House Mafia’s Sebastian Ingrosso also on board. There’s no word yet about when each artist will perform, but the club itself opens at the Mandalay Bay hotel on April 26.
