The numbers for this week’s major releases are in. Yesterday, R&B singer Chris Brown debuted at number one on the Billboard charts with his fifth studio album, Fortune. But the big story is Frank Ocean’s Def Jam album, Channel Orange. He surprised his fans about releasing the album early after his national television appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Ocean is expected to open with an impressive 110,000 to 125,000 units as an iTunes exclusive.
