The actions of a thoughtful and considerate dog in Mississippi are now being questioned by local authorities. The dog, whose name has not been revealed to the press, reportedly brought a large bag of weed home for the whole family. As this is Mississippi, that is apparently some sort of a problem.
After the dog (sadly not pictured above) arrived home with the kindhearted gift in tow, the Associated Pressreports that the homeowner originally thought it was just a big bag of grotesque garbage. However, after opening the bag and discovering its true contents, the gift was revealed to be an allegedly large amount of weed.
The Jones County Sheriff's Office ultimately recovered roughly a pound of the green stuff after being informed of the incident this weekend, according to a report from the Seattle Times. Narcotics officials, for reasons not entirely clear, are currently investigating the source of this loving pet's gracious gift to a family that reportedly doesn’t know how to say thank you.
If the dog possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, perhaps a move to Washington or Colorado (or a similarly weed-friendly state) is in order. After all, the legal weed industry is projected to hit an easy $20 billion by 2020 because duh. Somebody please give this dog, a truly gracious individual, a well-earned spot in the weed business.
