According to the Daily Beast, sports car billionaire Wolfgang Porsche has filed to divorce his wife due to her years-long health struggles. Insiders say 79-year-old Wolfgang, who is also the chairman of the automaker’s supervisory board, has found it “impossible” to live with 74-year-old Claudia Porsche, as her “dementia-like illness” has resulted in permanent personality changes.

Wolfgang and Claudia have reportedly been together since 2007, but didn’t tie the knot until 2019. German outlet Bild states Claudia’s health began declining shortly after the wedding, but became drastically worse over the last several months. Sources say Claudia—a former professor and politician—is now unable to move independently and relies “on round-the-clock care” from house staff and her daughter, Louisa Lehmann. Claudia has reportedly been living with Louisa for the past couple of years.

Insiders tell the Daily Mail that Wolfgang is spending a lot of time with 59-year-old Princess Gabriele of Leiningen, his close friend of 25 years. Gabriele, also known as Princess Inaara Aga Khan, had previous marriages to a couple of princes: Prince Karl Emich of Leiningen from 1991 to 1998 and Aga Khan IV from 1998 to 2014. Romance rumors began swirling back in January, after Wolfgang and Gabriele were spotted vacationing together in the Maldives.

Sources close to Gabriele tell the Mirror the two have since moved in together because they didn’t want to spend any time apart; however, it’s unclear which home they’re residing in.
