A Canadian woman was not scared straight as she was arrested for impaired driving immediately after leaving the court house on another impaired driving charge.

The 36-year-old woman is from Collingwood, Ontario, just north of Toronto.

According to the National Post, the woman was arrested by Orillia Ontario Provincial Police under suspicion of being intoxicated while driving north of Barrie. Barrie 411 says she was on her phone while driving.

The only thing is, after identifying the woman and determining that her blood-alcohol level was over the limit, they discovered that earlier in the day she had been in court for a separate impaired driving defence.

She had her vehicle impounded for seven days, and her driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days. She’s scheduled to appear back in court in March.
