Social restrictions surrounding COVID-19 has led to some of our favourite fast food spots shutting up shop, but things are changing: select KFC and Nando's stores in the UK have now reopened for delivery.
Nando's have reopened six locations for a trail period, strictly for delivery. The piri piri experts are only open in London and Manchester currently, with the Clink Street, Camberwell, Canary Jubilee and Gloucester Road stores being open in the capital, while the Fallowfield and Printworks stores in Manny are back taking orders for delivery.
The Nando's team took to Twitter to give a hungry fan some good news:
Staying on the topic of chicken, KFC have added to the 11 stores they reopened for delivery services on April 16. An extra 42 stores have been opened since, available in all major cities. "This next stage allows us to continue to provide wider access to hot food for those who need it most," said Paula MacKenzie, KFC's UK managing director. "I'm hugely appreciative of our team members who have returned to work — it's a challenging time for everyone, but we’re so glad to play our part in helping to feed the nation.”
KFC plan to reopen another 100 stores by May 4.
