UPDATED 9/27, 12 p.m. ET: Heather Lynn Patton, the woman who was seen shouting racial slurs at strangers in a CVS, has apologized for her behavior. "African American's helped build this country," someone who identified as Patton wrote online. "And I hate that I insulted the millions of them. I have lost my job which I totally would agree on... Please allow me to rekindle the love we shall all share amongst each other."
In a follow-up post, she simply wrote, "Please forgive me."
CBS Los Angeles spoke with Patton's neighbor Tony Toscano, who spoke about the way she treats her neighbors to frequent outbursts. In videos recorded by his security cameras, Patton can allegedly be heard yelling, "You deserve to die." In another separate instance, she said, "I'll slit your throat you ugly stalking bitch."
Toscano said, "Her issues are certainly with mental health."
Another clip from his cameras showed Patton's husband attempting to calm her down after she yelled, "That stalking c**t." Police showed up shortly after the incident. "They need help, simple as that," Toscano added.

A video of a woman on a racist rant in a CVS Pharmacy in Los Angeles has gone viral, and people have already identified her. As Heavy reports, the woman in the video is named Heather Lynn Patton, and she can be heard yelling "I hate n***ers." The woman filming the incident asserted that Patton must be "on drugs or something," to which she replied, "No, I just hate n***ers."
The 49-year-old woman is seen jumping up and down like a toddler throwing a tantrum at the start of the clip; she walked out of the store continually chanting the word. She is reportedly a costume designer and wardrobe assistant on various TV and film productions, and has worked on The Americans and Rescue Me among other projects.
Someone in the clip can be heard explaining they would call the police on her, to which Patton said, "I would kill a n***er but the law says I can't kill the n***ers. If the law didn't say I couldn't kill the n***ers they'd all be dead."
Another individual who was at the same CVS when the incident went down, confirmed on Twitter that she sped away "dangerously" in her car after causing a scene. "There was no build-up or prior altercation," L.A. resident Renee Saldana confirmed.
Upon some digging, it has been discovered that Patton has received two restraining orders by her neighbors whom she allegedly harassed. One neighbor explained to KTLA-TV that she "has a long history of erratic, unstable behavior and making violent threats."
