Jeff Gebhart, 47, of Prairie Village, Kansas, is looking to find love no matter the cost. This past weekend, Gebhart, an entrepreneur, launched the website DateJeffG.com to announce that he's offering $25,000 to anyone who can help him find that special someone.

"I'm single, and I don’t want to go back to the normal, app-based dating stuff," Gebhart explains in the video on the landing page. "I think that a lot of people treat each other pretty poorly through that, and it's a toxic community. I kinda have a choice there, and I'm choosing not to do that...I'm trying to develop a better way, and I think this is it."

His dog Gunner is heavily featured in the video to obviously let you know that he's a dog person. He's also vowing to make a $25,000 donation to a no-kill dog shelter or charity as part of this matchmaker deal.

"I don’t need a person to complete me, but I'm looking for a person with qualities that will allow us to complement each other," Gebhart writes. "I'd like to find someone who is fun, easy to spend time with, someone who is confident, driven, shares the same interests as I and has a zest for life. Funny, goofy, and doesn’t take themselves too seriously."

Here's the most important thing that you should know, and yes, we're talking about that money. A woman cannot nominate herself and be eligible for the $25,000 payout because this prize is for the matchmaker. Most importantly, the $25,000 payment only arrives after the relationship clears the "Initial Dating Period" of one year. Only then will you start seeing some cash, which come in the form of five yearly installments of $5,000.
