A California man who boasted about killing his girlfriend in a rap has been charged with her murder, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. 27-year-old Robert Anthony Camou, who has been accused of murdering his 31-year-old girlfriend Amanda Custer in July, is facing one count of murder. He also allegedly committed the crime while out on bail following prior domestic violence charges.

"I killed my bitch and buried that bitch in the fucking dirt," he said in a clip that has surfaced online. He also reportedly boasted about cutting off his house arrest monitoring device. "The cops are trying to look for me... and I'm trying to shut my mouth." In May, Camou was charged with "one felony count each of first-degree burglary, person present; injuring a girlfriend; and assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury." He also had a charge of one misdemeanor count of battery.

Arraignment on the murder charge he's now facing was scheduled today to be continued until Oct. 10. The prior conviction stemmed from an April incident in which he allegedly beat his girlfriend, threatened her with a taser, and chased her into a nearby residence where she sought help. While Custer's body has not been found, it has been suspected that he killed her sometime around July 29.

Neighbors had told police that Camou was seen dragging a body into the trunk of his car after the video was shot on Monday night (Sept. 2) at the King Eddy Saloon open-mic night. He was arrested earlier this week after police discovered him sleeping in his car. When police inspected his trunk, blood and a "tool used for digging" was discovered. The Los Angeles Police Department SWAT team were able to apprehend him after a five-hour standoff when they threw a canister of tear gas inside the car.

Investigators reportedly discovered blood inside of the couple's home, too. If convicted, Camou will face the death penalty or life in prison without the opportunity for parole.
