iPhone stans the world over will throw their gusto into any old rumor when it's time to talk about a new device. Just check this new report on the iPhone 8. Well, "report" in the sense that a smartphone case retailer, MobileFun, sent Mashable pictures of Olixar cases that are said to be the "perfect fit" for the final iPhone 8.
Mashable pointed out that the "nearly bezel-free edge-to-edge display on the front with no physical home button" has them hype, as does "a new vertically oriented dual lens camera on the back."
This might have all in need (or want) of that iPhone 8 salivating, but slow your roll; there's no confirmation that the specs on these cases are 100 percent accurate. Hell, this isn't even the first iPhone rumor out there. Just last week, images hit the internet showing the similar edge-to-edge screen, and prior rumors have suggested the iPhone 8's screen would be 5.8", as opposed to the 4.7" iPhone 7 screen.
As of now, all of these reports will have to be treated as rumors (although very enticing rumors) until Apple announces what's good with the iPhone 8, which would be the 10th anniversary iPhone from Apple. They didn't announce it at their WWDC Keynote this month, so who knows when it will officially be announced.
