Donald Trump has made some pretty questionable statements during his presidential campaign, enough that we could probably make a coffee table out of them. It was just yesterday that the Republican nominee shared a comment about the Second Amendment and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton that seemed to insinuate some very dark rhetoric.
Wednesday night Trump continued on his trail of dubious remarks during a rally in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. where he claimed Barack Obama was the founder of ISIS.
Here's the full quote:
ISIS is honoring president Obama. He is the founder of ISIS. He's the founder of ISIS. He's the founder. He founded ISIS. And I would say the co-founder would be crooked Hillary Clinton. Co-founder, crooked Hillary Clinton.
As you can read above, Trump brought Clinton into the mix as co-founder of ISIS. For what it's worth, Trump called Clinton the founder of ISIS last week, so at least there's some consistency?
People on Twitter immediately reacted to his comments, which you can check out below:
Wow, I leave Twitter for an hour & suddenly the President is running Isis. I can't keep up with crazy Trump lies anymore. #lastword— Jean Dunn (@jeandunn52) August 11, 2016

Wait. Trump ACTUALLY said Obama founded ISIS?— Stephen Blackmoore (@sblackmoore) August 11, 2016
And here I was hoping for at least a tiny bit of satire.
Trump now claims Obama has founded ISIS & Hillary co-founded it?!!!! Are you kidding me?! What is wrong with @realDonaldTrump— Bobby Hall (@BobbyTBD) August 11, 2016
Trump saying Obama and Hilary founded ISIS to large cheers sounds like a goddamn SNL sketch reveling how gullible Trump voters are— ZettoSan (@ZettoSan03) August 11, 2016
I heard Trump said Obama and founded ISIS. Trump running his mouth while Obama's on vacation. I can't wait til Obama gets back from vacation— debdlund (@debdlund) August 11, 2016
