Ted Cruz just dropped out of the presidential race, which could be good news or bad news, depending on how you look at it. The bad news is, it looks like Donald Trump will be our GOP candidate. The good news is that a) Cruz won't and b) there's now a delightful assortment of Internet memes celebrating that fact.
After Trump won the Indiana primary Tuesday night, Cruz announced that he and his short-lived running mate Carly Fiorina would no longer be running. "Tonight, I’m sorry to say, it appears that path has been foreclosed," he said in a speech. "We gave it everything we got, but the voters chose another path."
