Mist

Working within a tight knit team of frequent collaborators, Birmingham rapper Mist has risen to the fore the last two years, pairing street anthems with slick, cinematic visuals. Today, he drops sophomore EP Diamond In The Dirt on Warner Records, the follow-up to 2016's independent breakout M I S to the T EP.

As possibly the premier rapper/producer combo in the UK right now (next to J Hus and JAE5) Mist and Steel Banglez, who again handles the bulk of production here, go right back in on the formula. There's more emphasis on combining the rapper's gruff delivery with a mixture of flexible styles (Not3s, Mr Eazi, Haile), and also a surprise guest in Jessie Ware.

With Diamond In The Dirt projected to crack the UK album charts, Mist is very much on his way. Stream the set below via Spotify, or grab it from iTunes now.
