Snoop Dogg may have mocked Young Thug and Lil Uzi Vert in the new video for his song "Moment I Feared."

Snoop Dogg is basically the cool uncle to an entire generation of young rappers, and it's easy to forget about the generational gap from time to time. Just because he's making music with some of today's young talent doesn't mean he shares all the same sensibilities.

That much seems clear after watching the video for Snoop's "Moment I Feared" with Rick Rock. It's your typically upbeat, goofy Snoop, but there appears to be some thinly-veiled mockery at some younger artists within the video, more specifically at Young Thug and Lil Uzi Vert.

The video tracks the career of a rapper known as Fonz D-lo, who as a fictional character seems to represent everything Snoop doesn't like about the rap game these days. Snoop makes claims in the song like, "Sucker shit is running rampant," and at one point a very distinct pose is struck by D-lo. We'll leave it up to you, but compare the look Fonz D-lo is rocking in the video to the cover of Thug's Jeffery.

There's also a reference to Uzi Vert when the fictional rapper tells Snoop, "Everybody's hating on me because they can't do what I do, the fabrics I wear" in the middle of the video. This tracks with what Uzi said after coming under fire for how he was dressed at the Billboard Music Awards. "You know what it is? They've never felt these fabrics before," Uzi said at the time.

In the end though, the intent doesn't seem malicious. Snoop just appeared on Thug's Beautiful Thugger Girlsso it's unlikely he is too opposed to Thugger or Uzi doing their thing. And as he's wrapping up his interview with his fake counterpart, Snoop mentions that when he was on the come-up, he had to deal with a lot of the same criticism today's artists experience.

"I respect all the young homies that's doing they thing," he says. "I remember when I was young, they didn't understand me or respect me for what I did, but I grew into what I do. And I think that's what you're doing, you dig?"

Understanding though he may be, don't expect Snoop to end up in a dress anytime soon. Catch the full video for "Moment I Feared" up top.
