Last month, we debuted N.IG.H.T.S, the menacing EP from Toronto rapper JONIGOLD. Hailing from the RMNGNT collective, JONIGOLD impressed us with melodic hooks and emphatic bars that weaved their way in-and-out of dark trap instrumentals. One the standouts of the project was the dazed banger, "In The Cut", an atmospheric turn up anthem featuring an assist by Kenneth Cane.
Now, the two emcees are gifting us with a new visual for the song. The video for "In The Cut" aptly takes place in a dimly lit club, highlighted by interdimensional segments on an ethereal white plane. The whole thing makes us feel like we're on the track's aforementioned substances. With "In The Cut", JONIGOLD embraces his woozy sonics, and perfects the Toronto sound we have become accustomed to.
