Paul Williams, one of the great composers and writers of music of the last seven decades, spoke on "The Collaborators" regarding his work with Daft Punk on Random Access Memories. He spoke about his work on the project, and the themes they created for his portions of the album. His era, which features music for David Bowie, The Carpenters, and music for a pair of Muppets movies, speaks to the vibe that we get from Random Access Memories. Very interesting edition of this series.

It's wild how things work. It's great to hear him talk about "Get Lucky," especially about it being more than just getting the girl. Pretty insightful piece, and a great capper to this "Get Lucky"-fueled weekend.

Intel and VICE's "The Creators Project" has premiered the first part of "The Collaborators," a special look at the artists who worked with Daft Punk on Random Access Memories. This debut episode is on the legendary Giorgio Moroder, who is seen by many as an instrumental figure in electronic music having worked with everyone from David Bowie to Donna Summer.
