Vans has unveiled its new This is Off The Wall campaign, featuring a group of fresh brand ambassadors who embody distinctiveness and self-expression through a range of unique styles.
The new visuals from the Cali skateboard brand feature a range of music and sports personalities, led by Brit Award winner and rapper Little Simz, as well as Beatrice Domond, Felipe Nunes, Irene Kim, Cocona Hiraka, Arthur Bray, and Salome Agbaroji. Showcasing a new era of footwear design, the bold imagery looks to highlight the empowerment that is felt within this new generation of creatives as they embark on their journey of self-discovery.
As part of the This is Off The Wall inactive, Vans has debuted a renewed iteration of their classic Old Skool design with the new Vans Knu Skool silhouette. The revamped low-top sneaker has been upgraded with contemporary details, tailored for today’s fashion trends, such as a reimagined puffed-up tongue and ankle collar, along with robust suede uppers and diamond Sidestrip.
Commenting on her involvement with the project, Little Simz said: “Style to me is your source, your taste, your identity. When I think of my style, fashion, and music, I believe it makes me who I am. Simz the person, Simz the artist. It’s very reflective of my character and what I’m into. To be honest, I don’t really think it’s what you do, it’s how you do it.”
