Sacai is always so goddamn good, man. We just saw S/S 16 from the brand in Paris, but don't get ahead of yourself because we still have F/W 15 to fawn over and this shit is full fucking throttle greatness. The first half of the collection resides firmly in a grey area. They're simpler pieces, but to call them simple would be to do them an enormous disservice. Outerwear comes in a variety of shapes, sizes and textures, while the back end of the collection slides toward Sacai's favorite, plaid, utilizing blue to burnt oranges hues and enormous fuzzy scarves and shawls that look like they were salvages from '70s shag carpeting. Sacai really does the whole thing dirty from top-to-bottom. Shearling was the big trend for F/W 15 and it's here in just the right amount with a furry mid-layer, Patagucci-inspired jacket and the more typical shearling-lined suede joint at the end. I don't know about your dubious taste level, but this is one collection I can't wait to see hit stores.
